The wonderful Mediterranean style Azúr Hotel is the largest conference and wellness centre on the southern shore of the Lake Balaton. The conference division is uniquely equipped with technology, while the wellness centre ensures the rejuvenation of body and soul. The brand new games centre and the culinary pleasures of the restaurant make the hotel a perfect location for those arriving with families.
Lake Balaton is the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe. Siófok has always played a leading role in the Southern Transdanubian region – first military and commercial later as a resort. Major hotels were constructed at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries, and the place became a popular spa for artists, actors and the upper-middle class of Budapest. Today Siófok is an important touristic centre, ‘the capital of the Lake Balaton’. The city pampers visitors with flowers, parks, statues and Hungarian hospitality.
