2nd Annual Ribs on the River July 4, 2009

Main Street Portsmouth and USEC have partnered to offer a family fun downtown celebration this July 4th. The 2nd Annual Ribs on the River will be held on the corners of 2nd and Court Streets from 4-8PM. Tickets are just $15.00 and that includes ribs, your choice of Cole Slaw or Potato Salad, Baked Beans and roll. Children under 10 can have a hot dog and chips for only $1.00.

Life Ambulance will be cooking the ribs and offering train rides along the beautiful Portsmouth Floodwall Murals, Doc Roc and the Remedies will be playing beside Ye Olde Lantern, and there will be inflatables and snow cones along Front Street.

Main Street Portsmouth would like to invite friends, family, tourist and all community members to join us to celebrate our community. The event is only a short walk to the riverfront to enjoy the 2009 Fireworks.
