2nd Annual No Cookie Left Behind Bake Sale June 28, 2008

After last year’s success, the girls of No Cookie Left Behind are back for a second year! This group of Los Angeles-based food enthusiasts are returning to host another bake sale on June 28th, as part of Share Our Strength's Great American Bake Sale, a national campaign that mobilizes people of all ages to help end childhood hunger in America by holding bake sales in their communities.

We will feature a dizzying array of homemade baked goods, ranging from an old-fashioned berry layer cake to vegan cookies by the dozen to delicious baklava. Bakers include local caterers (Jenny and Heather Goldberg of Spork Foods), food bloggers (Tannaz Sassooni of www.allkindsofyum.com) cookbook authors (Ann Le of The Little Saigon Cookbook and www.lalunchbox.com) and many others. Every dollar goes to fighting childhood hunger!
