2nd Annual Ilaria's Walk 'n Lemonade Fund Raiser for Childhood Cancer September 29, 2007

ILARIA'S WALK 'N LEMONADE EVENT

SEPTEMBER 29, 2007!

FUND RAISER FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER at The Brandi Fenton Memorial Park at Alvernon & River (west of the JCC). We will be at the park from 8am - 3pm. Join us for a 1 mile sponsored walk - registration fee is $10. Leashed pets are welcome. In addition to the walk, we are holding a Tribute Alex's Lemonade Stand. Lavender lemonade is being donated by Feast. Eclectic Cafe is donating lemonade and herbal iced tea. If that wasn't enough, we're also having a prize raffle. Restaurant gift cards, quilts, and more. Sadly, this year 3 friends of ours lost their fight with childhood cancer. Two of them were Lily Doyle, age 2yrs., AML leukemia & Ben Rohen-Trapp, age 3yrs., Medulablastoma. The 3rd friend was 5yrs. old and had ALL leukemia. We will walk this year in their memory.

The 3 charities we've chosen as benefactors are The Melonhead Foundation , Tu Nidito , and Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern AZ.
