2nd Annual Collingswood Green Festival
This year, the festival will be held April 24th from 10-2pm along Irvin Ave, between Haddon Ave and Patco high speed line. It will be held the same day as the Camden County Hazardous Waste Collection Event in Collingswood at the Public Works garage on N. Atlantic Ave. Again this year, after you safely drop off your hazardous waste you can purchase rain barrels, compost bins and full grown trees (with free delivery to Collingswood residents)! Shop the Eco-Artisans, get to know the merchants who sell sustainable and eco friendly products, get a bike tune up at the BikeShare, see an all electric vehicle, get a chair massage for a donation to plant a tree in Knight Park and learn how to recycle just about anything! For a donation to the Knight Park Pavillion restoration, shred your confidential documents from 9-11am. Enjoy music, food, the kids zone and learn how you can get involved and make a difference. Once again this year we will help you clean out your closets – drop off the following for recycling at the festival:
*Crocs brand shoes
*Brita filters
*all brands of sneakers
*corks
*cell phones
*ink cartridges
*rechargeable and button batteries
*umbrellas
*bagged packing peanuts
