STAGE AURORA THEATRICAL COMPANY PRESENTS
THE 2nd ANNUAL AURORA JACKSONVILLE BLACK ARTS FESTIVAL July 20-25, 2009
The Aurora Jacksonville Black Arts Festival, a community outreach program of Stage Aurora Theatrical Co., Inc., is organized by Founder Darryl Reuben Hall as a showcase for enlightenment in the Arts and Humanities.
The 2nd Annual Aurora Jacksonville Black Arts Festival will include Performances by
The Stage Aurora Summer Performance Arts Institute performing a cumulative showcase, Tae Won Do, Summer Camp Step Off, and Stage Aurora’s 100 Youth Voices in Concert and MUCH MORE!
Stage Aurora’s 100 Voices will perform their first concert, since recording the long awaited demo, which features a song written by one of the group’s member. The group will perform America The Beautiful, The Color Purple (Huckleberry Pie, Color Purple, You’re Not Ugly and I Here), Kirk Franklin’s Lean On Me and This Is It and much more singing and dancing.
The Aurora Jacksonville Festival is a weeklong festival showcasing the African-American experience and culture in relation to the human experience in the Arts and Humanities. All events and entertainment are for the sole purpose of providing opportunities for participation and exposure to quality entertainment and Stage Aurora's goal of producing "theatre that enlightens."
