A benefit gala concert to support Pets Unlimited, San Francisco. Emmy® Award winning conductor and event founder George Daugherty will lead a roster of extraordinary soloists and a world class 35-member Chamber Orchestra in a stunning program designed to showcase classical and opera talents from the Bay Area and beyond. The gala benefit concert, spotlighting an eclectic program of Mozart, Richard Strauss, Vivaldi, Lerner and Lowe, Verdi, Peggy Lee, Jake Heggie , and of course, “Pooch-ini” -- will also feature a captivating San Francisco debut performance by rising mezzo-soprano opera star Jennifer Holloway among other popular talents.
Pets Unlimited is a San Francisco charity which helps dogs and cats in need through state-of-the-art veterinary care, a critical needs shelter, and adoption center.
Tickets start at $35 and children under 12 receive a 15% discount. Artist’s reception and raffle will follow the concert. 100% of proceeds directly support the critical needs shelter and charitable veterinary care programs.
