Mill Valley’s own 2am Club has been writing music and playing shows together since their inception in early 2007 (in LA) and is ready to announce a record deal any minute now. This year they've been working with producer Jerry Harrison from the Talking Heads (No Doubt, Foo Fighters, Violent Femmes).
2am Club’s music is a cross between pop, hip-hop, soul, and rock and their live shows are a party. Their influences range from Stevie Wonder to Kanye West to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and their sound is accessible and intelligent. The last time these 2 bands played here together (July 2008, Mill valley Masonic) the place was packed and the crowd went wild.
