Awadagin Pratt, Eri Nakamura, Mack McCray.
For 29 years Mack McCray of the SF Conservatory has brought the finest emerging classical piano talent to the Bach Society stage. This year we are especially proud to present pianist/conductor Awadagin Pratt who has played internationally and with most of the major symphony orchestras in the US. He has been the subject of numerous articles in the national press, appeared on TV, and performed twice at the White House at the invitation of President and Mrs. Clinton. Programs to be announced onstage.
40 minutes from SF and Silicon Valley, the Douglas Beach House is notorious for its oceanfront location, casual chamber setting, and quality performances. Home to the non-profit Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society, it has been major contributor to the SF Bay Area Jazz & Classical music scene since 1964. National and international musicians mingle with the audience who get two hours of music plus two more to enjoy the scene. Buffet and wine bar available, or bring your own beverages.
