28th Annual Stratton Faxon Fairfield Half Marathon, 5K Race & Kid's Fun Run June 22, 2008

Named "Race of the Month" for June, 2008 by Runner's World Magazine. This Annual event - hosted by Fairfield Firefighters - draws some of the finest runners from throughout the Northeast to Jennings Beach. Over 3000 athletes and family will compete in the three (3) races to benefit the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation Camp for Kids and other charities.

The race is accessible by Metro North Railroad with free shuttle buses from the Fairfield train station.
