NATIONAL PRESS CLUB BOOK FAIR, THURSDAY, NOV. 17
WASHINGTON, D.C. ? The National Press Club?s 28th Annual Book Fair and Authors? Night will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2005. As one of Washington?s largest literary events, the Fair attracts authors from across the nation. Meet the authors, get the story behind the story and have them sign your purchase. This is an ideal place to begin your holiday gift-buying.
The event attracts hundreds of fans, Press Club members, publishers and agents who enjoy browsing the Children?s books, cookbooks, photography books, Washington exposés, histories, and best-selling fiction.
This year?s event promises to be outstanding, with more than 60 authors. Participating authors this year include NPR?s Weekend Edition Saturday host, Scott Simon, Washington Post columnist, Art Buchwald, Time magazine reporter, Bonnie Angelo, co-host of PBS?s The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, Robert MacNeil, former Sentaor Gary Hart, Jessica Hendra, Senator Rick Santorum, Chef Robert Kinkead, Washington Times columnist, Tony Blankley, best-selling author Andrew Carroll, syndicated columnist, Steven V.
