The City of Dublin’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival will take place at the Dublin Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday, March 14th & 15th from 10am to 5pm both days. Join us for all the Irish celebrations; partake of Irish drink and food, shop for authentic Irish wares and crafts, learn the Irish jig or how to play a pennywhistle, Kiss the Blarney Stone, or watch the Hurling Contest.
Don’t miss your chance to meet and mingle with dignitaries from Bray, Ireland at the Dublin Sister City Association’s annual Green & White Gala on Friday, March 13th at the Dublin Senior Center. Tickets must be purchased in advance - call 829-4758 to reserve your seat.
Enjoy some tasty green pancakes at the Firefighter Pancake Breakfast which will be held from 7am until 10am on Saturday, March 14th. Fire station #16 is located corner of Amador Valley Blvd & Donohue Dr – across from the Dublin Senior Center. Cost is only $3 for children and $5 for adults and tickets are available at the door.
The celebration continues with the annual Dublin Lions Club Parade. The parade begins promptly at 9:30am Saturday morning. Don’t miss the 11th Annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run & Walk which starts at 8:30am. This 3.1-mile certified course will start and end at the Dublin Civic Center. Cost is only $20 if you are pre-registered and $25 the day of the event. The price includes an official event t-shirt, pre and post race activities and an opportunity to win some great raffle prizes.
