25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee features six young people in the throes of puberty (overseen by grown-ups who have barely managed to escape childhood themselves) who learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily mean you're a loser. This hilarious Tony Award-winning tale of overachievers vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime has one of the funniest scripts in years and a fast-paced, poignant musical score. Don't miss this endearing and thoughtful musical, with a cast of undergraduate Drama students.
