25th Annual California Coastal Cleanup - Sunnyvale Site September 19, 2009

Cleanups will be held throughout California along bays, creeks, rivers, highways and the coast. Recruit your friends, family and co-workers to help! Sunnyvale's goal is 50 volunteers! AREA TO BE CLEANED: Sunnyvale West Channel, from Carl Road crossing to Bordeaux Drive and the Guadalupe Slough - along the area adjacent to the San Francisco Spur Trail around the Water Pollution Control Plant oxidation ponds.

HOW TO REGISTER: For more information or to sign up as a volunteer for Sunnyvale's site, call the City of Sunnyvale's Environmental Outreach division at (408) 730-7717, or send an email to wpcp@ci.sunnyvale.ca.us. If you are under the age of 18, you will need to get a parent or guardian to sign a waiver for before participating.
