24th Annual Community Care Health Fair September 16, 2010

St. Ann’s Community will host the 24th annual Community Care Health Fair for the public. Admission is free and lunch will be served. Over 30 organizations focusing on health care and community resources for seniors will provide information to attendees. Health screenings will include cholesterol and blood pressure readings, and pharmacists will be on hand to answer questions about prescriptions. Attendees are encouraged to write down the names and amounts of any prescriptions prior to their arrival for easy remembering. They are also encouraged to bring utility invoices, particularly invoices from Frontier Telephone, and a Frontier representative will review the bills to ensure seniors are not paying for any services they don’t use.
