23rd Annual African Marketplace & Cultural Faire August 16, 2008

Join us for this extraordinary event offering both a cultural festival & marketplace to over 100,000 multi-cultural attendees who celebrate the influence of the African diaspora throughout the world.

Our festival features multiple stages--North American, Carribean, African & the Youth stage, an Art Pavilion, Holistic Village, Literary Village, Corporate Row, exotic foods, a Brazilian festival and family fun in the Youth Village.

This year's youth area features a skateboard park & demo, free giveaways, carnival rides & games, a PS3 gaming center, petting zoo and ponies, arts & crafts, face painting, magic and the hottest family-friendly stage performances in California.

Come welcome the 2008 Youth Village Ambassador, teen actress Paige Hurd who's been in films & TV such as "Beauty Shop", "Everybody Hates Chris", "Suite Life of Zack and Cody", and more!

This is a must-attend three weekend event designed to promote cultural awareness among diverse people! Running August 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31, and Labor Day, September 1 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
