The 21st Cartoon Forum will take place for the first time in a newer member of the European Union: Hungary. The host town, Sopron, is a charming and historic place: it is indeed in Sopron that the first gate in the iron curtain was opened, just two months before the opening of the Wall of Berlin.
Created in 1990, the Cartoon Forum is neither a fair nor a festival, but rather a European co-production forum for TV and new platforms animation. Each year, producers have the unique opportunity to present their TV project to all the key players of the animation industry. The convivial and relaxed atmosphere gives participants the time to negotiate, conclude business and join forces in new projects.
To register for the Magyar Cartoon Forum, please download the appropriate registration form in the column (specific form for producers with a project) and fax it to CARTOON.
Deadline: 30 June 2010 (hotel rooms will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis).
We recommend you to download the Guidelines where you will find much practical information including travel, accommodation, facilities, programme, registration details, etc. Producers will also find technical information about what they need to provide for their selected project.
