20Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race September 24, 2007

From 1933 to 1945, Nazi Germany’s government, led by Adolph Hitler, promoted a nationalism that combined territorial expansion with claims of biological superiority – an “Aryan master race”. Legitimized by prominent scientists, eugenics became a platform to cleanse German society of individuals viewed as threats to the ‘health’ of the nation. This chilling exhibit from the United States Holocaust Museum was seen recently at The Warhol in Pittsburgh. Cleveland’s medical presence will be showcased through related programs that debate some of today’s most pressing medical moral issues.
