2012 KIDS DAY IN THE PARK; Hosted by: Independence Township Parks, Recreation and Seniors

If healthy, happy kids are your mission, Kids Day in the Park is your event. Concessions will be available for purchase. Hosted by Independence Township Parks, Recreation and Seniors in partnership with Turtle Toys of Clarkston.

May 12, 2012 from 10am until 1pm - FREE - Clintonwood Park, Clarkston, MI

Activities include:

Kids Only Garage Sale (register to have a booth at the Sale! $8 per booth, residents receive a discount. Register by 5/11, 5pm. Space is limited.), Kite Building, a Petting Zoo, Bounce Houses, Concessions, Pet Adoptions from Paws for Life Rescue, Archery, Car Display, Face Painting, Fort Building, a Bubble Zone, Balloon Animals, Tumbling, a Football Clinic, a Coloring Station, Free Style Hula Hooping from 11:30 am-12:30 pm, a local author and the Independence Township Library.

Previously called the “Kite Fest”, this event drew in over 400 people. This year, we are expanding the event to include more partners and more experiences for kids. Businesses or organizations that bring an activity or provide volunteers to the event will receive recognition on all publications (if print deadlines are met). Become a sponsor and get
additional exposure!
