• The Hollywood Museum, official museum of Hollywood located in the Historic Max Factor Building, celebrates Glamorous Holidays – Hollywood Style with the “Ho-Ho-Hollywood! The Twelve Dames of Christmas” Tree Exhibit.
• The trees are created by “Dr. Christmas” (Bob Pranga and Debi Staron), known as the celebrity holiday and special event designers to the stars. Each tree is decorated with costumes, props, photos, posters and themed memorabilia from actresses Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Judy Garland, Lucille Ball, Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone, Elvira Mistress of the Dark, Greta Garbo and Cher.
• The exhibit will be on display until January 6, 2013.
• Also on display is a collection of Christmas ornaments signed by a galaxy of stars, including Lauren Bacall, Angela Lansbury, Jacqueline Smith, Heidi Klum, Paris Hilton, Brittany Murphy, Phyllis Diller and more
• The museum is located in the historic Max Factor Building, where his four world famous Makeup Rooms will be decorated to match the color-themed rooms where Lucille Ball became a redhead in the REDHEADS ONLY ROOM (celery green), where Marilyn Monroe became a blonde in the room FOR BLONDES ONLY (icy blue), where Judy Garland became America’s Sweetheart in the room FOR BROWNETTES ONLY (peach), and where Elizabeth Taylor had her locks styled in the room FOR BRUNETTES ONLY (pink).
• The Hollywood Museum is located half a block from Hollywood’s Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd. Also on display at the museum is a special exhibition “Salute to TV Memories,” through Dec. 30, 2012 showcasing memorabilia saluting favorite TV Shows including “I Love Lucy,” “ I Dream of Jeanie” among others.
