Korean American Society of Houston (KASH) will host the third annual Korean festival on Saturday, October 22nd at Discovery Green. This one-day event, sponsored by North Freeway Hyundai, will bring South Korea’s classic and modern culture and beauty halfway around the globe to the heart of downtown Houston.
This year’s theme is The Sights of Korea. We are featuring a hanbok fashion show that will bring you the authentic visual enjoyment. We will also provide information on touring Korea, and bring you contemporary and traditional performances by renowned Korean artists.
Contemporary performers include:
Clara Chung, a popular YouTube artist who rose to fame when she won Los Angeles’ Kollaboration talent show.
Dumbfoundead, a Los Angeles-based battle rapper.
Traditional performances include Tae Kwon Do and Korean dance.
