2010 Summer Concert Series: John Hiatt and Los Lobos August 14, 2010

John Hiatt’s 1987 landmark album,”Bring in the Family,” is a rootsy fusion of rock 'n' roll, country, blues and folk. Countless artist have covered Hiatt’s songs including Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt and Willie Nelson. Los Lobos first performed under the name Los Lobos Del Este, in Los Angeles in 1973. The band has since evolved into a respected artistic entity, searching for themes and topics that are an interpretive pulse of our times, drawing from the blues, rockabilly, jazz and Latin musical traditions. Additional performance August 13 at the Arvada Center.
