Where: Shuttle pickup is at Montecito Rd. and Summit Ave. in San Rafael, CA. (Signage is there) Shuttle runs every 6 minutes.
What: A rare opportunity to tour one of Marin County’s most magnificent residences, the historic Rosegarden Estate in San Rafael will only be available to the public May 14 – June 5th. A must see property, this is one of the Bay Area’s most breathtaking residences, and the home of the 2010 Marin Designers Showcase, benefiting the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership. The Showcase features 25 design spaces by 32 of the Bay Area’s most talented designers in this 8,000 sq ft home on 1.5 acres with spa, pool, rose & vegetable gardens, vineyards, fruit trees, and tennis court. If you attend the showcase and see something you can’t live without, you may be able to purchase it on Sunday, June 6th so a return trip is advised.
GREEN DESIGN FEATURES – each of the 25 specially designed rooms features one or more sustainable elements including repurposed doors and lighting fixtures, artwork, hemp rugs and other design aspects.
