Join EarthRehab, The Jupiter/Tequesta Junior Women's Club and the Jupiter Middle School 'Treehuggers' for an awesome Beach and Reef cleanup at the legendary Coral Cove Park on Jupiter Island.
Members and Volunteers for Ocean Rehab Initiative Inc. are encouraged to attend and participate with Reef Debris Removal.
This is an Ocean Conservancy registered 2010 Event on Jupiter Island in Florida. (and has a legendary worm rock/ limestone reef eco-system)
A Special Guest speaker will soon be announced, most likely a Marine Conservationist (Activist, Director or Biologist) Our last Event was made special with Speaker and soon to be Doctor Larry Wood of Florida Hawksbill Project during the kickoff of Sea Turtle Nesting Season.
The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) is the world's largest, one-day volunteer effort to clean up the marine environment. Every September, volunteers from over 100 countries descend on local beaches, rivers, lakes and canals to show their commitment to cleaner waterways. The Ocean Conservancy, the world's largest organization focusing exclusively on the health of the marine environment, has sponsored this annual event for the past 23 years.
We have also selected Sawfish Bay Park as the backup location if the Beaches are not accessible due to Oil Spill Related Damages. This is also a PBC Park.
