2009 South West Metro Emergency Preparedness Fair October 10, 2009

The Emergency Preparedness Fair is into its 3rd Year. We will have emergency preparedness specialists speaking about emergency food/meal preparation, emergency water (potable and non-potable uses), disaster preparedness, family and organizational preparedness, emergency radio communications, and emergency medical preparedness. In past years the local fire department, Sheriffs office, FEMA, Colorado State University, Colorado State Office of Emergency Management, and local Hospitals and Flight for Life, ARRL, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) members and other emergency organizations were represented as well as legal and insurance representatives to help families plan for the future and emergencies.
