The planet is facing a major extinction crisis due to numerous threats including the increased impacts of climate change. Russell Mittermeier, President of Conservation International, finds hope in the challenges. He will discuss how climate change may present us with an opportunity to protect and invest in "biodiversity hotspots" at a level far beyond that which anyone previously thought was possible.
