Very upset over the handling of security and incoming beverage rule. My grand daughter had an unopened Gatorade to consume. It was handled as a CRIMINAL ACT by security and my 11 year grand daughter was shaken by the whole ordeal. The effort to persuade people to purchase drinks while at the event is understandable, but the $3 charge was very poorly thought out. Many people openly were disgusted by the 'let's make money" approach. My grand daughter and her friend decided after an hour to go to the security booth, retrieve her drink and place it in her mother's car. A female security person, ( all of this occured on east side, 2pm - 4pm), begin chewing my grand daughter out for attempting to leave the area, (my grand daughter had on THE WRIST BAND!) without any concern on how she was to re enter without a adult. This "concern" was never POSTED nor was anyone AWARE OF SUCH A RULE! I informed these security people to back off that the 2 girls were being monitored by me. For me to spend $105 dollars ($5 to park a car, my goodness, $3 is reasonable, $5 is ridiculous)before hearing 1 song and to have YOUR SECURITY make a horrible display of anger and distrust towards a 11 year old girl is unexcusable. I spent $105 to have that occur!!! I shall discuss this issue with every person I can talk with. I am not going to allow you to push this matter aside.
