2009 Menorah Lighting
Join the Bayshore Town Center Community as the Menorah is lit, and Chanukah is celebrated through joyous song and festivity. Lubavitch of Wisconsin is sponsoring their annual Menorah Lighting using a 7 foot Tzadekah (charity) Menorah filled with change collected from children from local schools and organizations. All monies collected will be shared with the destitute and hungry in the Milwaukee area. In addition, to the lighting of the Menorah, festivities also include a performance by the Shimon Marcucci Band, Children’s Choir, Drum Ensemble, Chanukah Sing-Along, Children’s craft tables, Chanukah Gelt and Children’s “Make Your Own Menorah” Contest. Café Osher’s mobile Chanukah Kitchen will be on hand with hot latkes, jelly doughnuts, hot apple cider, falafel, boxed dinners and more for purchase.
