Celebrate Memorial Park’s 85th year as a treasured part of Houston’s heritage at the 2009 Green Gala. The Memorial Park Conservancy’s annual event brings awareness and support to the park with the goal of maintaining its legacy as a Houston landmark for generations to come.

The Memorial Park Conservancy is engaged in a wide range of activities to preserve the park’s native habitat while ensuring the enjoyment of Memorial Park by the public. Join your fellow Houstonians and support the conservation of this natural Houston gem.

This year the Green Gala will honor Mr. & Mrs. William P. Hobby Jr. for their dedication to the park. With live music from Moodafaruka and co-chairs Meg and Nelson Murray and Wendy Hines, it is guaranteed to be the social event of the fall season.
