In celebration of Lincoln’s Sesquicentennial (150th Anniversary), the Native Sons of the Golden West, Silver Star Parlor #63 (Lincoln) is holding its biannual Grand Homecoming/Reunion Celebration on Saturday, August 22, 2009.
The reunion is a benefit dinner for the Lincoln Area Archives Museum. Volunteer-run, the archives are supported by the NSGW Silver Star Parlor and monies raised thru its fundraisers are used in these efforts.
The event includes a delicious dinner, no-host bar, Lincoln High School Hall of Fame inductions, entertainment, area history displays, games, drawings, and much more.
Held at the McBean Park Pavilion at McBean Park in Lincoln, from 5pm to 9pm, the dinner is only $30.00 per person. The dinner is open to anyone who lives or works in Lincoln, ever lived or worked in Lincoln, or ever attended any Lincoln area school; in other words – everyone is invited!
