2008 Nonprofit Technology Conference March 19, 2008

More than 1,000 people will come together at the Sheraton New Orleans for the Nonprofit Technology Conference to connect with colleagues, learn about the issues, share their knowledge with others, and, of course, have fun. We'll talk about what works, what doesn't work, and what is in the works for those using nonprofit technology to further a cause. This year's theme is:

Building Community: Connections around the globe and around the corner.

More than ever, technology is helping nonprofits tap into and build communities to create social change. Now, more than ever, our stakeholders are able to connect, share and act on our behalf from around the globe, or around the corner. At this NTC, we’ll pay special attention to the tools and strategies that are reshaping how we go about doing our work, by empowering our clients and stakeholders.
This year's plenary speaker will be David Pogue, the personal technology columnist for the New York Times. David will be speaking -- dare we hope, singing? -- on Thursday, March 20th at 8:30 am. Check out the full agenda.

We will have more than 90 breakout sessions on the most important technology issues today. These sessions will give you the knowledge and skills you need to go back to work and put what you learned to use, whether you're a seasoned coder or a nonprofit worker turned accidental techie.
