The National Council of Nonprofit Associations (NCNA), the umbrella organization for state associations of nonprofits, announces open registration for their 2008 Nonprofit Congress National Meeting. The event will be held on June 1-4, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, and is expected to draw over 800 participants from across the country.
The 2008 Nonprofit Congress will include round-table discussions with nonprofit leaders and other key decision makers; and educational sessions on areas such as public policy, advocacy, communications, technology, and accountability. Additional events include a lobby day on Capitol Hill where attendees will meet with their congressional representatives. The 2008 event will also launch the first Nonprofit Expo of the Nonprofit Congress annual meeting, featuring the latest products and services for the nonprofit sector offered by nonprofit and for-profit businesses.
