“Harnessing Emerging Technology for Tomorrow’s Leaders”
Keynote Speaker: Peter Fox, General Manager for Microsoft Corporation’s North America Tele Platform (NATP) Team. Based at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington, NATP is the center of excellence for tele-sales for Microsoft North America, and is responsible for the tele-business strategy across all customer segments and business groups. Fox and his leadership team in NATP are responsible for all US revenues totaling over $12 billion in annual sales.
Master of Ceremonies: T. Mychael Rambo, an accomplished actor, vocalist and arts educator whose accomplishments range from Gem of the Ocean and Crowns at the Guthrie Theatre to Piano Lesson, Get Ready, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Dinah Was and of course Black Nativity produced by Penumbra Theatre. His solo performance on the life of Justice Marshall called Thurgood Marshall’s Coming tours the country and his most recent independent feature film project “Justice” has received critical acclaim at film festivals around the country and was nominated for a NAACP Image Award.
We will recognize a IT Black Professional, IT Business Enterprise of the Year and young people who participated in the 2008 Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) Twin Cities Community Youth Technology programs, the BDPA National High School Computer Competition in Atlanta, Georgia and Community IT Youth camp.
