The 2007 David Dobbert Memorial Scholarship Benefit features Of Hatred, Crosswire, three times thick, Weathered Reign, Damn Nation, Breech, and 88 Magnum live at Viking Lanes Saturday, August 4th, 2007. Doors open at 3:00 PM, all ages, $7.00 minimum donation at the door. Directions available via Mapquest.
After David was killed by a drunk driver, his family and friends set up a memorial scholarship in his memory funded by these annual benefit fundraising events. David played bass in local classic rock band Phineas Gage, so in honor of his love for music the scholarship is awarded annually to a musically-driven struggling student.
