2007 BTA Annual International Conference: Border.Security.Impact? September 24, 2007

The Border Trade Alliance (BTA) cordially invites you to attend the 2007 International Conference in Austin, Texas entitled “Border.Security.Impact?” The conference will address security in the areas of travel, freight and our international borders.

The first day will feature issue forums that address travel and immigration, border technology, import and export policies and processes, infrastructure, agribusiness and fisheries and environment and health.

The second day will consist of three panels: Secure Travel, Secure Freight and Secure Borders. The panels will address hot topic issues and initiatives such as the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), Real ID, secure traveler programs, US-VISIT, the border fence, SBInet, ACE e-manifests, supply chain management, Customs and Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and the impact these efforts have on trade and commerce in border communities.
