The Amnesty International Film Festival is proud to present its eleventh annual program in Vancouver. This is the flagship festival for human rights film nights and festivals in Canada. This year's festival features 22 films on important issues facing the global community. We bring you Canadian and Vancouver premieres and award-winning work by Canadian and foreign filmmakers. Often challenging and inspiring, these compelling, powerful stories help us understand what it means to be a citizen. This festival also celebrates the significant contribution made by filmmakers to our understanding of human rights issues. This is your annual opportunity to experience cinema with a social conscience.
