The Minnesota Center for Philanthropy and Carlson Capital Management are pleased to announce the running of the 3rd Annual Northfield Jingle Bell Run/Walk on Saturday December 18th at 8:30 am in downtown Northfield. The first 200 registrants will receive a free navy Jingle Bell gator. And all registrants will receive free jingle bells. Individual, family and team registrations are welcome and can be secured by contacting 507-645-8887, emailing jingle@carlsoncap.com or stopping by the offices of Carlson Capital Management at 11 Bridge Square in downtown Northfield. The 2k and 5K races will start at 8:30 am, with registration beginning at 7:45 am at 11 Bridge Square.
Hot chocolate, homemade rolls and live brass music will be provided during the event. Festive holiday running/walking attire is encouraged.
The Minnesota Center for Philanthropy?s board will direct 100% of all registration fees to Northfield?s Christmas Day Dinner for All, an event sponsored by the Mainstreet Moravian Church and St. John?s Lutheran Church of Northfield and to the Health Finders Network, a Northfield collaborative between the English-speaking and Spanish-speaking communities to provide comprehensive medical services to uninsured and underinsured families within the geographic reach of the Northfield hospital.

The Minnesota Center for Philanthropy is an independent non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate charitable giving. The primary means of accomplishing this pursuit is the use of donor advised funds. Donor advised funds provide individuals and families the ability to more conveniently make charitable contributions. These charitable vehicles allow individuals to contribute cash or appreciated securities to a named donor advised fund and then distribute the funds out to a single or multiple charities over a period of time as requested by the donor
