1st Thursdays "The Art of Social Commentary" October 4, 2012

Artists Ignite Change! ! Art has been used as an influential medium to address societal problems throughout the centuries and now Central Florida artists get their turn and assume the role of social pundits during 1st Thursdays “The Art of Social Commentary” from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Café offerings, handcrafted beers, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Admission to 1st Thursdays is $10, always free for OMA members, and includes admission to the OMA's featured exhibitions "Reflections: Paintings of Florida from 1865-1965 from the Collection of Cici and Hyatt Brown" and "Picturing My Florida: A Grassroots Portrait of the Sunshine State."
