1st Oral Cancer Walk Philadelphia 2009 April 18, 2009

The School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania would like to invite you to join us for the first annual Oral Cancer Walk in Philadelphia! Saturday, April 18th, 2009.

Our mission is to increase awareness about oral cancer as it is a disease that warrants much attention yet seldom gets it. Our primary objectives are to promote awareness amongst the entire community in Philadelphia.

The 3.1-mile walk will begin at the University of Pennsylvania,
School of Dental Medicine:
240 South 40th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
(corner of 40th and Spruce Streets)

Registration begins at 9 a.m.
The Walk and free oral screenings begin at 10 a.m.
Free refreshments and live entertainment provided until 2 p.m.!

Registration will be online at:

Please bring your receipt for registration on the day of the Walk.
Registration is also possible on the day of the Walk with cash only.

All walkers must have at least one sponsor and
collect a minimum of $20 in sponsorship.

All proceeds will directly benefit The Oral Cancer Foundation.
