1st Latin-American Conference on Learning Objects October 23, 2006

The first Latin American conference on Learning Objects is an opportunity for regional users, managers and researchers to share information, tools and experience in the development and use of learning object technologies. While its main goal is to be a mirror where we could see the current status of development of Learning Object Technologies in Latin America, it will be also a window where we will observe the state-of-the-art of the technology in other countries.

A concrete result expected from the conference will be to reach an agreement to interconnect the diverse learning object collections in the region and create a federated network of intercontinental repositories.

We invite you to be part of this conference by presenting your experiences and research in a scientific paper or participating in the different lectures, tutorials and discussions that will take place during the conference. All the scientific papers will be internationally peer-reviewed before presented in the conference and will be published in the conference proceedings.
