Come out and celebrate Opera Manhattan's FIRST ANNIVERSARY GALA, featuring the participants of the upcoming 2009-2010 Season. This event is sure to show you that opera does not have to be stuffy to be fun!

The event is 4-8pm, but we'll keep singing as long as the revelers are having fun!

DON'T FORGET! Dress up as your favorite opera character or ghoulish fiend (no, we're not talking about THAT soprano) and you could win a prize!

PLEASE REMEMBER, this event will help OMRT raise the necessary funds to:
~ acquire and refurbish a promising theater space in the Village
~ give over 70 singers the opportunity to get onstage this year to experiment with their craft and grow artistically in a safe, non-judgmental environment
~ pay for the production costs that continue to keep rising

More importantly, the funds raised here will keep our training programs FREE! Yes, some companies CHARGE singers to sing! We know...that's why OMRT was begun -- to give all artists an outlet for their creative expression without being taken advantage of!
