The AMAM's spacious Sculpture Court houses more than than 50 paintings and sculptures spanning the 19th and early 20th centuries, providing visitors with a survey of the most important movements and styles in European and American art during that time. These include the Barbizon and Hudson River Schools, French and American Impressionism, German Expressionism, Fauvism, Cubism and Abstract Expressionism. The AMAM's German Expressionist works are especially strong.
