Entering its 18th year, the Race to Deliver is God's Love We Deliver's largest annual fundraiser. It is a 4 mile run/walk in Central Park, followed by multiple-distance Kid's Fun Runs. The race is a symbol of our daily race to ensure that no person ever has to face the unthinkable combination of illness and hunger. To date, nearly 83,000 caring New Yorkers have participated with 5,000 more anticipated this year. This year's race will take place on Sunday, November 20, 2011 near Bethesda Fountain in Central Park at 8:30 a.m. The Kid's Fun Run will follow at 10:00 a.m.
God's Love We Deliver is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization that provides essential food and nutrition services to men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and other life-altering illnesses. Our clients live throughout the five boroughs of New York City, Hudson County and Newark, New Jersey. We are proud that all of our services have always been provided free of charge without regard to income. There has never been a waiting list for our services
