Modernbook Gallery is pleased to present its sixth annual juried show of Bay Area Photographers. Curated by artist, Brigitte Carnochan, and Modernbook owners, Mark Pinsukanjana and Bryan Yedinak, 16@49Geary features the work of sixteen fine art photographers. Hosted to showcase the diversity and creativity of contemporary photographic work available in the Bay Area today, 16@49Geary features photographs of landscape, dreamscape, wildlife, street life, the passion of the opera, and the soaring majesty of birds in flight. A breadth of technique is used to create the correct mood for each image and includes photogravure etching, Polaroid transfer, mixed photographic media and cutting edge digital processes.
