15th Annual Weekend of Texas Contemporary Dance at Miller Outdoor Theatre September 25, 2009

Head out to Miller Outdoor Theatre to experience an engaging program of work by Houston's most dynamic choreographers and dancers, showcasing a wide range of contemporary choreographic styles set to an eclectic mix of live and recorded music. This varied group of performers will include companies such as HIStory Dance Company, a top 12 contender on MTV's "Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew" in 2008, the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company and the American Repertory Ensemble of Austin.

The weekend includes a special family matinee, "Dance Around the World," featuring Houston Ballet II and J&L New Arts Company on Sept. 26 at 11 a.m.

Free tickets to the covered seating area will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. on each day of the performance. Up to four tickets per person may be requested.
