Calling all music lovers: Get ready to rock in the next generation! You are invited to help Blue Star Music Camps continue to pass on the skills of playing, writing and performing American Contemporary Music to the youth of today. The evening is headlined by Tommy Castro with the Jimmy Dillon Band featuring Lorin Rowan, Ozzie Ahlers, Billy Lee Lewis, Keith Crossan, Eric McCann plus surprise guests. Tommy Castro, the Bay Area’s favorite Blues Man, is one of the most popular and creative roots artists to emerge in recent years. Castro was named B.B. King Blues Entertainer of the Year at the 2008 Blues Music Awards and his latest album Painkiller won Contemporary Blues Album of the Year! This Hot Blues event will take place at 142 Throckmorton Theatre and will include a fantastic silent auction.
