Wine lovers from all around will once again gather in the Alamo city for the event that has been enjoyed by thousands for the past 26 years. The San Antonio Express News Wine Festival is much more than just a tasting as it involves champagne, fine cuisine as well as wonderful wine. What once was an afternoon event has turned into a weekend long celebration. All proceeds from the festival benefit KLRN Public Television.

The inaugural event of the San Antonio Express-News Wine Festival is your key to experiencing gold medal winning wines from the San Antonio Express-News Wine Competition. The intimate black tie affair includes an array of American vintners as well as outstanding foreign vintners guaranteed to stir one’s palate.

The list of gold medal-winning wines from the 2007 San Antonio Express-News Wine Competition will be announced in the February 14, 2007 issue.

Entertainment will be provided by Henry Brun and the Latin Playerz.
