13.1 Marathon Chicago Online Registration Closes June 1, 2011 May 31, 2011

On June 1st, online registration will be closing for the 13.1 Marathon® Chicago and Karhu 5K which takes place on Saturday, June 4, 2011. 5,000 runners will hit the streets at the 13.1 Marathon® Chicago, starting and ending at the South Shore Cultural Center.

The 13.1 Marathon® Chicago and Karhu 5K is Chicago’s premier “Beer and Pizza” race. New this year, the Michelob ULTRA 13.1 Marathon® post race party concludes the event, quenching the thirst of participants with an ice cold Michelob ULTRA. Nothing goes better with an ice cold beer than a slice of Lou Malnati’s pizza, which will be back with free pizza for all the participants.

Runners will enjoy a beautiful half-marathon course along the lakefront and the sounds of over 20 party stations while they run. It isn't half of anything, it's a 13.1® mile race! The 5K will start 50 minutes after the 13.1 Marathon® Chicago and participants will begin from the same start line.
