12th Annual Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival September 24, 2011

Dozens of sea music performers present folk music and song celebrating our maritime heritage. Performers in 2011 include Gordon Bok, John Roberts, Jeff Warner, Bob Webb and Great Bay Sailor. The festival is held in downtown Portsmouth’s Market Square area at 8 venues including the Press Room (77 Daniel St), the Portsmouth Athenaeum (9 Market Square), and sometimes, right out on the street! All-ages event with audience participation encouraged.Hours Sat. Noon - 10PM, Sun. 1PM - 5:30PM. All events FREE; donations appreciated.
