12-11/12-09 Sad what few citizens which supports a great cause! December 17, 2009

We put on a two day arts/craft show and paid a great country band to come play. Advertised all over for weeks. We are so disappointed in the community support for a great cause. Couldn’t raise enough money to put a head stone of a 2 month old baby which passed on to heaven. The community doesn't support the rink anymore; we have very few children that come to skate, so we try new things. I guess we are on that short list of small businesses here which will have to close the door because the community is sending the kids and money some where else. They all go out of DeRidder to do their shopping and fun. THANK THE FEW WHICH HAS CAME AND SUPPORTED US WE DO APPREICATE YOU! Mr. James & Mrs. Debbie
